Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time associate. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supervise bookkeeping

  • Supervise payroll process

  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting client data

  • Support month-end and year-end closing process

  • Reconcile all accounts and prepare financial statements

  • Update technical knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices

  • Assist in a full range of U.S. tax services for international clients, including tax return preparation and review, tax research, preparation and review of technical memorandums, and drafting client correspondence

  • Assist in responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise bookkeeping

  • Supervise payroll process

  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting client data

  • Support month-end and year-end closing process

  • Reconcile all accounts and prepare financial statements

  • Regularly report to supervisor or manager

  • Update technical knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices

  • Assist in a full range of U.S. tax services for international clients, including tax return preparation and review, tax research, preparation and review of technical memorandums, and drafting client correspondence

  • Assist in responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant experience and at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Experience in the service industry such as law or accounting is a strong plus

  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism

  • Solid communication, analytical, and management skills

  • Strong tax accounting skills

  • Comprehensive computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite-- attention to detail

  • Command of the German language is a strong plu

  • U.S. Visa or work permit
